[spa]Justificación: El adolescente está sometido a situaciones que le obligan a tomar decisiones frecuentemente. A todo esto, hay que añadirle la gran influencia que la publicidad ejerce sobre ellos y las barreras que se encuentran los jóvenes para acceder al sistema sanitario. Objetivo: Evaluar la implantación de una Consulta Joven a través del análisis del tipo de consultas que los adolescentes han realizado a lo largo de tres cursos escolares de funcionamiento y de valorar una encuesta de opinión. Metodología: Estudio descriptivo transversal mediante cuestionario cumplimentado a partir de los datos originados en la interacción con 380 alumnos/as y de una encuesta de opinión con 319 alumnos/as de un Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria. Resultados: Los motivos más frecuentes de consulta fueron sexualidad (70,5%) y drogas (25%). La mayoría de los que acuden son mujeres (62,4%) con una media de edad de 14,0 años. El 90% de ellos cree que la Consulta Joven tiene capacidad para resolver sus dudas y formar en salud. Conclusiones: La Consulta Joven nos ha facilitado el acercamiento a los adolescentes y nos ha servido para detectar patologías y problemáticas sociales en un estado incial. Y, nos ha permitido realizar actividades de promoción y prevención en el ámbito escolar. [eng]Justification: Adolescents face situations where they are often forced to take decisions. In addition to all this, advertising has a strong influence on them and young people encounter obstacles in access to the health system. Aim: To assess the implementation of a teenage health consultancy service by analysing the type of guidance that adolescents have sought over the three academic years that the service has operated and from a satisfaction survey. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study based on a completed questionnaire, using data built up from interaction with 380 adolescents and an opinion survery with 319 students of a secondary school. Results: The most common reasons why guidance was sought by the target population were: sexuality (70.5%) and drugs (25%). Most of the adolescents who used the service were female (62.4%) with an average age of 14.0. Nine out of every ten believe that Consulta Joven is able to clarify any doubts and teach them about issues relating to health. Conclusions: Consulta Joven served to detect pathologies and social problems that were referred on to specialists in the early stages. Above all, it allowed us to carry out promotional and prevention-related activities at the school community.
