[cat] Aquest Treball de Final de Grau en mestra d’Educació Primària, i especialitat en educació musical, té com a objectiu principal, analitzar els beneficis de la musicoteràpia aplicada als nins amb síndrome de Down. La música ajuda al desenvolupament de la persona, augmenta la intel·ligència, la psicomotricitat i la creativitat, a part també millora la capacitat d’atenció en l’infant. A més, tenim la musicoteràpia que és un gran recurs que utilitza la música amb l’ajut de tots els seus elements (so, ritme, melodia i harmonia) amb un pacient o grup concret, amb l’objectiu principal de facilitar i promoure la comunicació, l’aprenentatge, la mobilització , l’expressió, entre d’altres. La musicoteràpia ajuda a reduir barreres pel que fa a la participació de tots els alumnes i promou el treball en grup d’una forma motivadora i emocional. Podem dir, doncs que la música és integradora i crea noves formes d’expressió musical. A partir de tota la recerca bibliogràfica, he realitzat entrevistes a experts amb musicoteràpia i he duit a terme una sèrie d’activitats relacionades amb la musicoteràpia per poder aplicar-les a una aula amb infants amb síndrome de Down. Finalment, aquesta intervenció educativa em servirà per corroborar si la musicoteràpia contribueix favorablement als infants amb síndrome de Down.
[eng] The main aim of this thesis for the degree of Primary School Teacher specialized in Music Education is to analyze the benefits of music therapy applied to children with Down syndrome. Music helps the person’s development. It also increases intelligence, the psychomotor activity and creativity. Furthermore, it improves the child’s attention span. Moreover, we have music therapy, which is a great resource that uses music with the help of all its elements (sound, rhythm, melody and harmony) with a specific patient or group. Its main aim is to provide and promote communication, learning, mobilisation and expression, among others. Music therapy helps to reduce barriers as far as pupils’ participation is concerned and it promotes group work in a motivating, emotional way. Thus, we can say that music is integrative and it helps to create news forms of musical expression.
With bibliographic research as starting point, I have interviewed music therapy experts and I have carried out some activities related to music therapy that are going to be applied in a classroom with kids with Down syndrome. Finally, this educational intervention is going to corroborate if music therapy contributes favourably to kids with Down Syndrome
