Atenció educativa per infants oncològics a les Illes Balears

[cat] L’oncologia infantil presenta una tendència a la disminució del temps d’estança a l’hospital per part dels alumnes, que també tindran una assistència a classe més baixa. Per això han de quedar durant un període més llarg a casa. Per aconseguir certa continuïtat amb els continguts curriculars i seguir amb el procés educatiu, hi ha diverses opcions com és el Servei d’Atenció Educativa Domiciliària. Sigui quina sigui l’opció escollida, la figura del tutor del grup-classe s’ha de seguir conservant, i la comunicació entre diversos agents és molt important. Com a conclusió a l’anàlisi es pot determinar que és necessària més informació per part dels tutors dels alumnes en situació de malaltia. L’objectiu general d’aquest treball és analitzar la situació dels infants amb càncer a la nostra comunitat autònoma, i fer èmfasi al paper del seu tutor o tutora del centre educatiu. Es pretén arribar al compliment de l’objectiu general mitjançant la recerca documentada i l’entrevista a diversos subjectes que han viscut la situació de malaltia: la coordinadora del servei, una mare i una tutora.

[eng] The child oncology has the tendency to decrease on the length of the hospitalization by the students, so they would go less time to school. Because of this, they have to stay at home more time. To get some continuity with the school contents and to keep on with the educational process, there are many options like the homebound instructions. Whatever option they choose, the teacher’s role should continue, and the communication between different agents is very important. In conclusion, the analysis can determine that the tutors need more information in situations of illness. The main goal in this work is to analyze the situation of the children with cancer in our community and to emphasize the school’s teacher’s role. It is pretended to reach the main objective with a research and with some interviews to people who have lived the situation of illness: the coordinator of the program, a mum and a teacher.
