Las aportaciones de María Montessori en la Pedagogía

Abstract

[spa] Este documento es un estudio de revisión e investigación bibliográfica donde expongo información acerca de María Montessori y sus aportaciones en el mundo de la educación, ya que fue una persona que impulsó la renovación de la Pedagogía a través de su método, el cual ha dejado huella hasta el día de hoy. Además ofrece una revisión del contexto en el cual se desarrolló el método y cómo se difundió en Cataluña a lo largo del siglo XX. Por otra parte aporta información sobre la revista Montessori, de la cual no hay investigaciones realizadas, y pone de manifiesto su importancia y utilidad, ya que estamos hablando de una época en que la las escuelas utilizaban metodologías muy tradicionales y a los niños con dificultades de aprendizaje se les tachaba de “ineducables”. Gracias al método Montessori, estos niños empezaron a tener la oportunidad de recibir educación. La revista sirvió para que maestros e interesados en educación pudieran conocer cómo educar a estos y otros niños.

[eng] This document is a study about bibliographic revisión and investigation where I expose information about Maria Montessori and her contributions in the educational world, as she was the person that boosted the pedagogic renovation through her method, which it has left mark from then to these days. Besides offers a revision of the context which the method was developed and how was spread around Cataluña along the twentieth century. On the other hand, gives information about the Montessori magazine, which has not been investigated and shows how important and useful that is, since we are talking about a time when schools used very traditional methodologies, and children with learning disabilities were called “unteachable”. Thanks to the Montessori method, those children started to have a chance to be educated. The magazine was used for teachers and people interested in education to know how to educate those children.
