Abstract

[spa] El sistema educativo es el principal encargado de transmitir los comportamientos y conocimientos de generación en generación, de aquello que se considera básico para que las personas nos socialicemos. La historia de la educación en el territorio español, ha ido marcada por una gran herencia androcentrista y patriarcal, a través de la cual, la figura masculina es la que se considera universal. Desde siglos anteriores hasta la actualidad podemos ver como el modelo educativo va cambiando. Se pasa de la escuela segregada por sexos a la escuela mixta, para más tarde, plantearse la necesidad de la implantación del modelo coeducativo de igualdad de género, partiendo del reconocimiento de las desigualdades transmitidas hasta el momento y superando los prejuicios y estereotipos sexistas, para llegar a una plena igualdad de género en todos los ámbitos y contextos de la sociedad, tanto para las mujeres como para los hombres.

[eng] The educational system is the main responsible for transmitting the behaviors and knowledge from generation to generation, from what is considered basic for people to socialize us. The history of the education in the Spanish territory has been marked by a marked androcentric and patriarchal heritage, through which the male figure is the one that is considered universal. From previous centuries until today we can see how the educational model is changing. It passes of the school segregated by sexes to the mixed school, for later, to appear the need of the implantation of the coeducational model of gender equality, based on the recognition of inequalities transmitted up to the moment and overcoming the prejudices and sexist stereotypes, to obtain the gender equality in all the areas and contexts of the society, both women and men.
