El feminismo y las nuevas masculinidades. Dos conceptos para la intervención socioeducativa

[spa] La sociedad en que vivimos está enmarcada en un sistema patriarcal en el cual las mujeres y hombres estamos bajo unos estereotipos y roles de género que establecen relaciones de desigualdad entre las personas. Los educadores y las educadoras sociales, como agentes de transformación social, debemos formarnos con el fin de conocer los diversos mecanismos que crean estas desigualdades, así como las diversas teorías, movimientos, formas de actuación y pensamientos que pueden ayudarnos a mejorar las relaciones de las personas. Este trabajo queda enmarcado dentro de los estudios del grado de Educación social y, en concreto, de los estudios de género. La intención del presente trabajo es, por un lado, analizar a través de la teoría existente los feminismos y sus significados en la lucha por la Igualdad de género, además de su aportación a la Intervención socioeducativa. Por otro lado, se pretende investigar el concepto de las nuevas masculinidades y el papel del hombre en este cambio hacia la Igualdad de género.

[eng] The society in which we live is framed in a patriarchal system, in which men and women are below stereotypes and gender roles that establish relations of inequality among people. Teachers and social educators, as agents of social transformation, must get formed in order to know the different mechanisms that create these inequalities, as well as the diverse theories, movements, forms of action and thoughts that can help us improve the relationships of people. This project is framed into the degree of “Educación Social” studies and, more specifically, the gender studies. The purpose of this work is, on the one hand, to analyse through the existing theory, feminisms, and their meanings in the struggle for equality of gender, as well as its contribution to the socio-educational intervention. On the other hand, the target is to investigate the concept of the new masculinity and the role of the man in this change towards gender equality.
