[eng]In last years, Europe has tried to face an energy dependence problem, in
particular, in the natural gas market. Since 2006, Russia has acted
opportunistically on his main customer, all European Union countries, which
have suffered the consequences of not having any choices in energy issues. In
this paper, it will see how the natural gas market is structured, will analyze this
problem about Russian gas and the solutions that have been carried out by
European Union, which are slowly yielding results. Finally, with a simple model,
it will try to represent a business between two agents, and will see how the
power can change when they set a price, in this case natural gas price, in
function of having an alternative or another.
