Historia de la prensa pedagógica en España y el papel que ocupa el juego en el Magisterio Balear

Abstract

[esp] La prensa pedagógica en España ha sido, desde la Ilustración, un medio de expresión de ideas, pensamientos y reflexiones relacionadas con el mundo de la educación. En sus inicios no tuvo tanta trascendencia como otro tipo de publicaciones enfocadas en los campos de la Medicina o la Economía, por ejemplo, pero con el paso del tiempo adquirió un papel fundamental en la difusión de cuestiones relacionadas con la educación entre maestros y otros profesionales. La investigación realizada, además de indagar en la historia de la prensa pedagógica en España, se ha centrado en la consulta de El Magisterio Balear, periódico de talante liberal, abierto y moderado, convertido durante años en eje indiscutible de la prensa pedagógica regional. En concreto, el análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo de este material se ha centrado en la recopilación de reflexiones teóricas y artículos de opinión enfocadas en el juego para averiguar el grado de presencia y la forma en que aparece en el periódico de referencia.

[eng] The pedagogical press in Spain has been, since the Enlightenment, a means of expressing ideas, thoughts and reflections related to the world of education. In its beginnings it did not have as much significance as other publications focused on the fields of Medicine or Economics, for example, but over time it acquired a fundamental role in the dissemination of issues related to education among teachers and other professionals. The research carried out, in addition to investigating the history of the pedagogical press in Spain, has focused on the consultation of El Magisterio Balear, a liberal, open-minded and moderated newspaper, which has for years become the undisputed axis of the regional pedagogical press. Specifically, the quantitative and qualitative analysis of this material has focused on the collection of theoretical reflections and opinion pieces focused on the game to find out the degree of presence and the way it appears in the reference newspaper
