L’experimentació com a eina didàctica: les transformacions químiques

[cat] Diversos estudis demostren que les ciències en l’etapa d’Educació Primària s’entenen millor de manera experimental. No obstant, avui en dia ens trobam amb ensenyaments poc significatius que es basen en la memòria i el mecanicisme. Per aquest motiu, es troba adient plantejar una proposta que es basi en l’experimentació com a eina didàctica per entendre un terme tant complex, per als infants, com és la transformació química. Per demostrar la importància de l’experimentació dins primària, es farà d’una manera realista posant en pràctica la proposta didàctica en un centre situat en un barri de Palma, el CEIP Verge de Lluc, caracteritzat per un alumnat que prové de contextos peculiars.

[eng] Several studies show that the sciences in Primary Education are better understood with an experimental way. However, nowadays we find mainly no significant lessons based on mechanistic and memory. For this reason, here we propose a didactic project that uses the experimentation as a didactic tool to work on and understand the chemical transformation, a really scientific behaviour difficult to understand for primary students. In order to demonstrate the importance of experimentation in primary school, it will be done in a realistic way by implementing the didactic project in an educational school located in a district of Palma, CEIP Virgen de Lluc. The students that attend the classes in the Virgen de Lluc educational centre come, for the most part, from disadvantaged social environments, which affects their level of interest in science and knowledge in general
