[eng] Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a pathology that arises as a consequence of brain alterations.
This provokes communicative and language deficiencies, among other effects. Since communication
and language are an important aspect for the development of learning and social relations, we
decided to intervene with a student with ASD who had a high level of affectation of the communicative
aspect. For this reason, the aim of this article is to present the results obtained after a series of
interventions designed to increase their communicative level. To do this, we used manipulative
material based on the structuring of phrases with pictograms. The results obtained were those
expected, but they were not positive due to the limitations of the study. First of all, there was not
enough time to carry out the necessary interventions to be able to visualize an evolution. Secondly,
due to the characteristics of children with ASD, long periods of interventions are necessary to achieve
learning. Finally, the participant shows no intention or interest in communicating with others. For
these three reasons, the results obtained have not shown any evolution of the aim set in this study
