Considering the family as a resource that brings us closer to the reality of rare diseases, we analyze their opinion on the organized and informal activities that have taken place. Finally, based on the comparison of their perspectives and the needs detected, a proposal for improving awareness actions is proposed. It is concluded that the activities should be transformative and not just informative, making reality known naturally and raising awareness from the positive side of the story.
