Malalties minoritàries i sensibilització. Les famílies com a recurs indispensable per la millora del treball de sensibilització

Abstract

[cat] El present treball té com a objectiu l’anàlisi de la perspectiva que tenen sis famílies amb un fill/a afectat/da per una malaltia minoritària envers el treball de sensibilització realitzat per elles i les entitats a les quals pertanyen. Considerant la família com a recurs que ens apropa a la realitat de les malalties poc freqüents, analitzem la seva opinió sobre les activitats organitzades i informals que s’han realitzat. Finalment, a partir de la comparació de les seves perspectives i de les necessitats detectades es planteja una proposta de millora de les actuacions de sensibilització. Es conclou que les activitats haurien de ser transformatives i no només informatives, donant a conèixer la realitat amb naturalitat i sensibilitzant des de la part positiva de la història.

[eng] The aim of this work is to analyze the perspective of six families with a child affected by a minority disease on the awareness work carried out by them and the entities to which they belong. Considering the family as a resource that brings us closer to the reality of rare diseases, we analyze their opinion on the organized and informal activities that have taken place. Finally, based on the comparison of their perspectives and the needs detected, a proposal for improving awareness actions is proposed. It is concluded that the activities should be transformative and not just informative, making reality known naturally and raising awareness from the positive side of the story.
