El Model Educatiu del poble de Calvià del 1960 al 1980

Abstract

[cat] L’educació com la societat ha experimentat molts canvis al llarg dels anys. Per poder entendre com s’ha anat format la idea d’educació, hem de saber quina concepció es tenia d’aquesta anteriorment. Aquest treball es divideix en dues parts: la primera (de contextualització) on es descriu la situació general d’Espanya i Mallorca i, la segona (d’aportació) centrada a descriure el model educatiu que es va viure al poble de Calvià del 1960 al 1980. L’educació entre els anys 1960 i 1980 distava molt de l’actual. Els aspectes organitzatius, estructural i metodològics són els que més han canviat. A finals del segle XX la idea d’educació es revalorà, la societat va començar a veure la importància d’una bona educació. L’escola es transformà, va passar de ser una eina més d’adoctrinament a ser una institució decidida a potenciar el pensament crític dels ciutadans. A estat a causa d’aquests canvis ideològics que l’educació s’ha anat modificant i evolucionant per arribar a la realitat educativa que vivim avui en dia.

[eng] Education has undergone many changes through the years, as has our society. In order to understand the idea of education that we have today, we need to understand the conception we had about education in the past. This work is divided into two parts. The first one (contextualization) describes the general situation of Spain and Mallorca and, the second one (contribution) is focused on describing the educational model in the town of Calvià from 1960 to 1980. Education between 1960 to 1980 was very different from our present situation. The organizational, structural and methodological aspects have changed the most. At the end of the twentieth century the idea of education was revalued, society began to notice the importance of a good education. The school was transformed, it went from being another tool of indoctrination to being an institution determined to promote the critical thinking of citizens. It is because of these ideological changes that education has been modified and evolved to reach the educational reality we live in today.
