[eng] Emotions are present in our daily lives and are experienced in different areas and situations.
They are experienced in any space and time, with friends, with family, in the park, etc. Over
the years, many authors have talked about socio-emotional education and have created their
own theories with the aim of bringing people closer to their inner self and consequently to
their physical and mental well-being. It should be noted that these emotions also have a
strong presence in Early Childhood Education classrooms. Therefore, the aim of this study is
to analyse how a tutor in a classroom of four-year-old children at CEIP Miquel Duran i
Saurina in Inca applies the theories of humanistic psychology, specifically those of Carl
Rogers and Eugene Gendlin, in her socioemotional practice, and which impact these theories
have on the children. For this reason, a qualitative observation of the day to day in the
classroom and the implementation of humanistic theories will be carried out through various
activities. The results obtained allow to identify the great benefits that these practices offer to
the children both on a personal and group level, thus favouring the teaching-learning process.
