[spa]Con el paso del tiempo la psicomotricidad ha evolucionado mucho. Se ha cambiado la idea
que se tenía en un principio y con los años, ha cogido mucha importancia dentro de las aulas.
Es por ello, que como docentes, debemos conocer el significado de la palabra psicomotricidad
y las aportaciones de los diferentes autores.
También se da mucha importancia del papel que desarrolla el docente dentro de las
sesiones de psicomotricidad. Es por ello, que el psicomotricista, que es el encargado de la
sesión psicomotriz, debe conocer todo aquello que es relevante para potenciar el desarrollo de
sus alumnos. Ya que dicho docente debe trabajar diferentes actividades que potencien las tres
áreas de desarrollo en sus alumnos.
Al igual que, la figura del docente debe conocer las aptitudes y actitudes que debe poseer
para ser un buen docente. Así como también, deberá estudiar en profundidad una serie de
aspectos importantes para su intervención como son: las herramientas utilizadas para la
correcta evaluación, las tablas de evaluación, los materiales dentro de una sesión, las normas
dentro del aula, como intervenir con sus alumnos, los rincones que debe ofrecer, el contacto
con las familias, los beneficios que aporta dichas sesiones, diferentes actividades…
Como conclusión, el docente a través de dichas sesiones psicomotrices deberá desarrollar
las capacidades de sus alumnos, tanto físicas, afectivas, como intelectuales. Y también, el
desarrollo en los tres ámbitos, es decir el desarrollo motor, el cognitivo lingüístico y el
equilibrio personal. Con ello conseguirá un buen desarrollo en sus alumnos.

initially and over the years has changed, and it has become important in the classroom. It is
why, teachers, must know the meaning of motor skills and its contributions of the different
authors.
It is important the role the teacher develops in the motor skill´s sessions. This is due that
the psychomotor is in change of coordinating the motor skills session, he should know
everything about it and what is relevant to improve the development of their students. The
teacher should work different activities to strengthen the three areas of his student´s
development.
As a teacher, he must know the skills and attitudes that he must have to become a good
teacher. In addition, he should study in depth a number of important aspects for intervention
as the tools used for proper evaluation, rubrics, materials used in a session, the rules in the
classroom, how to interact with children, he should offers the class corners to play, to contact
with families, to have knownledge of the benefits of these sessions, to perform activities ...
In conclusion , the teacher should develop the capacity of his children in the sesions of
pychomotor skills: physical, emotional and intellectual. And also, the development in the
three areas , motor, cognitive, linguistic development and personal balance. This will get a
good development in his children.
