La construcció de la cultura de l’espai a l’escola El Martinet

Abstract

[cat]Una determinada concepció de l’espai parla de quina imatge d’infant hi ha al darrera, però també parla del rol de l’adult, de la mirada envers l’aprenentatge, de com s’entén l’estètica o com s’entenen les relacions, entre moltes altres coses. A l’escola pública El Martinet, l’espai és considerat un element clau en l’educació dels infants. Per això, les mestres i els mestres d’aquesta escola, des dels seus inicis fins a l’actualitat, han anat construint una cultura de l’espai, basada en diferents autors i referents i a través d’un procés de transformació de la pròpia pràctica educativa. L’espai, per tant, també pot esdevenir un element de reflexió molt potent. Es creu que si s’observen quines relacions estableixen amb l’entorn les persones que l’habiten, es pot analitzar, reflexionar i millorar l’educació que s’ofereix als infants. A més, es considera que aquesta educació ha de ser conscient i coherent amb la imatge d’infància que es té.

In the public school El Martinet, the space is considered a key element in children education. Therefore, the teachers of this school, from its beginnings to the present, have built a culture of space, based on different authors and references and through a process of transforming the educational practice itself. Therefore the space can become a very powerful element of reflection. It is believed that if the relationships established with people who live around are observed, the education offered to children could be analysed, reflected and improved. In addition, it is considered that this education must be aware and consistent with the own image of childhood.
